With a Master’s in Reading/Writing/Literacy from PennGSE, Chris focused on the growing demand for integrating innovative digital literacy projects into the school curriculum as well as enhancing diverse options available within the school library. This led to Chris taking on the dual role as PK-8 School Librarian and Technology Coordinator in a Philadelphia independent school where he was able to influence these practices school-wide. With a heart for ties between schools and communities, Chris comes to Edcamp to support teachers convening spaces nationally (and internationally) to discover innovative and transformative practices that they can bring into and beyond their classrooms and schools. When he’s not working, Chris can be usually found with a book, or two, or three, and a small all-season iced coffee with no room for cream.
