I’m a Computer Science teacher at the Girls’ Middle School in Palo Alto, CA, where CS is a core academic subject. I’m a teacher and a coder; I taught high school English in California and Texas, and used to be a software developer at an ed-tech nonprofit. I believe ed-tech will transform education (I’m trying to help), but I’m worried about people who think computers will replace teachers. Do these people know any children?
