About Me
Jennifer L.M. Gunn spent 10 years in newspaper and magazine publishing before transitioning to public education. She brings creativity to her work as an educator and instructional designer with over a decade of experience building highly engaging and impactful instructional materials for learning and development — for schools, companies and private clients. She believes passionately in education innovation, social-emotional learning, and meeting the diverse and evolving needs of learners. Jennifer created Right to Read, a literacy acceleration series for teens, steeped in social justice. She also created the innovative learning models, The Big Idea Project and We the Change. Co-founder of the annual EDxEDNYC Education Conference for teacher-led innovation, she frequently writes about education, adolescent literacy and innovation in teaching and learning. @jenniferlmgunn
