EduCon 2018

I am co-founder and co-director of Mastery Collaborative, a community of 40+ public middle and high schools practicing competency-based education across the 5 boroughs of NYC. We foster student-centered, culturally responsive practices along with mastery. We aim to shift the power dynamic in schools to give students more agency, more meaningful input, more currency. I love my job.
